Rain-fed food crop production is very sensitive to climate variability. The majority of Ethiopian population reliant on rain-fed seasonal agriculture, which the backbone country’s economy. objective study was investigate impact rainfall and temperature changes maize sorghum yields. data were analyzed using Mann–Kendall trend test, Sen’s slope, correlation, regression models. study’s findings demonstrated that have different effects Mann-Kendall test has detected presence a significant increasing for both Though there an upward trend, result also suggests yields been fluctuating more. There variation 90% 88% in yield, respectively. R-squared statistics indicated variability 25.21%, 1.12%, 20.39% yield explained by its growing period rainfall, minimum, maximum Growing minimum positively correlated with output, while negatively correlated.
